David was a finalist in the Linbury Prize for Stage Design and won the Off-West End Award for Best Designer for Titanic and Lizzie Siddal.

As Associate/Assistant Designer: David has worked as Christopher Oram’s Associate Designer on The Cripple of Inishmaan (West End & Broadway), Privates on Parade, Peter & Alice, Uncle Vanya (West End); Le Nozze Di Figaro (Glyndebourne); and as an Assistant on Evita, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Broadway) and Don Giovanni (Metropolitan Opera).
